Miss Anne

                  words by Bob MacKenzie
                  music by Richard Moll

So long as there is music in the air

Miss Anne dances like the wind;
a ballerina and a jazz dancer
she seems a faerie sprite now
magical and light in the blue

television light dancing over
her graceful form bending as
a leaf in the wind of music
broadcast here from some other

world and time as she dances
her four years and eternities
of grace fill that fluid space
Miss Ann dances through and into

my heart.

Miss Anne dances like the wind;
a ballerina and a jazz dancer
she seems a faerie sprite now
magical and light in the blue

        through and into my heart
                     in the blue
        through and into my heart
                     through and into my heart
