The Performers

Over the years, many people have performed with Poem de Terre. The following are the names of these very talented people.

The members of the Kingston Folk Music Club provided an early and comfortable venue for Poem de Terre at the club's Sweet Folk All open stage at the Wellington Hotel. Julie Virr and Janet Knights have been supportive in many ways. Ron Fenn was the first in Kingston to provide musical accompaniment to Bob MacKenzie. Cilla Leigh wrote some of the earliest and most beautiful of Poem de Terre's songs and Hank Secord's demo recordings helped preserve some even earlier songs.

Performers on the nine tracks of Poem de Terre's original four-track recordings, released on the cassettes Windfall (1994) and Pyramid (1995), included Malka Berman, Richard Gold, Bob MacKenzie, Maggie McEwen, Tracie Morgan, Ian Revell, and Robin Walker.

Performers on the twenty tracks of Poem de Terre's 1999 compact disc release, Assume Nothing, included Cynthia Gibson, Steve Gillen, Bob MacKenzie, Lesleigh Smith, Victoria Smith, George Spelvin, Melanie Vancoughnett, and Alex Young.

Performers on the twenty-five tracks of Poem de Terre's 2002 double compact disc release, Live at Newlands Pavilion, included Gary Barratt, Steve Gillen, Bob MacKenzie, Kathleen McMaster, Kerry-Lee McMaster, Tyler Tryon, Lorne Whitby, and Alex Young.
